An experienced public relations strategist, Joannè von Alroth brings keen focus and deep relationships in media and government to her work serving large law firms and boutique specialty practices. Using a partnering approach, Joannè guides her clients’ internal and external communications, managing media relations and PR projects as well as content creation, digital strategy, media coaching and other high-level marketing and branding efforts. By developing creative strategies in line with her clients’ business objectives, she helps them navigate complicated matters while identifying and building positive imaging.
Before joining Page 2, Joannè guided messaging strategy and served as spokeswoman and media liaison for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. She has also worked independently as a communications strategist serving Fortune 500, start-up, education and public-sector clients. As a journalist, Joannè covered business and finance, government and politics, healthcare, crime and human-interest issues for Reuters, Investor’s Business Daily, the Chicago Tribune, the Daily Southtown and the Chicago Reader. A native Chicagoan and alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Joannè is a member of the Association of Women Journalists and an active community volunteer.
